The lender or our office will provide a closing disclosure that both parties will review.

Schedule the Closing

Choose a date and locations- typically the attorney will handle this process.

Final Walk-Through

The buyer will conduct a final walk-through of the property to ensure it’s in agreed condition.

Signing Documents

Buyer’s documents, seller’s documents, the deed is signed and transferred.

Payment of Closing Costs

Buyer’s payment, seller’s payment and the escrow account is set up if included in loan.

Disbursements of Funds

The seller’s mortgage is paid off from the proceeds of the sale and the title is transferred.

Receiving Keys & Possession

Buyer receives the keys after documents are signed, funds are disbursed and the property is transferred.

Recording the Transaction

The deed is recorded with the local county to legally make the transfer of ownership official.

Post-Closing Tasks

Mortgage payments begin and both parties will receive copies of the signed documents.
